The outcomeFewer repetitive tenant emails and calls, one record of every request, and you still control who's assigned and what's approved.
01

Passwordless sign-in

Tenants get a secure link by email—no password to manage, no separate app to install.

02

Guided request wizard

A short, structured flow—category, details, access instructions, and photos—replaces the back-and-forth of a text thread.

03

Their own status view

Tenants see exactly where their request stands, so “has anyone looked at this yet” stops being a question they ask you.

04

Scoped to their own property

A tenant only ever sees their own property, suite, and requests—never another tenant's information or your financials.

Built for the questions tenants actually ask

Most tenant emails and calls come down to the same few questions: is anyone coming, what's the status, did you get my message. The tenant portal answers those directly, without you in the middle of every one.

A tenant signs in with a link you send, reports an issue through a short guided flow, and checks back on their own—the same information you'd otherwise text or email them, just always available.

Self-service for tenants, control for you

Giving tenants a portal doesn't mean giving up control. Every request a tenant submits comes to you first—you review it, assign it, and decide what happens next. The tenant sees status and can add a comment or a photo; they can't assign work, approve an estimate, or change a due date.

  • Passwordless sign-in link, sent by you
  • Report an issue with photos and access instructions
  • Track status on a timeline scoped to that request
  • Add a comment the property manager will see

What the portal doesn't do yet

The tenant portal doesn't show a balance, invoices, payment history, lease documents, notices, or CAM or rent statements, and it doesn't accept payments. A tenant login is scoped to exactly one property and suite—there's no switcher for a tenant who leases space in more than one of your properties.

If your tenants need those things today, they'll still come through however you handle them now. The portal's job right now is maintenance.

GOOD TO KNOW

Questions owners ask about this.

Do tenants need a separate account?

They need a login, but not a password to remember. You invite them by email, and they sign in with a secure link.

What can tenants see in the portal?

Their own property and suite, their own maintenance requests and status, and their own comments and photos. Nothing belongs to another tenant, and none of your financial data is visible.

Can tenants see CAM or rent statements in the portal?

Not yet. Today the portal is scoped to maintenance requests and their status.

Does the tenant portal allow payments?

No. TenantPoint doesn't process payments through the tenant portal or anywhere else.

Can tenants message the property owner?

Within a work order, yes—they can add a comment you'll see. There isn't a general inbox outside of maintenance requests yet.

Are tenant portal users included in pricing?

Yes. Inviting tenants to the portal isn't a separate add-on or a per-tenant charge.
