Bank activity, organized by property—not a monthly statement dump.

Import bank activity and categorize it against the tenant, vendor, or property it belongs to, so reconciling the month doesn't mean reading a bank statement line by line.

01

Statement import today

Upload a bank statement (CSV, OFX, or QFX) and TenantPoint suggests categories and tenant matches based on rules you confirm.

02

A review queue, not a blind spreadsheet

Uncategorized or uncertain transactions land in a review queue—nothing gets silently miscategorized.

03

Categorization rules that learn

Approve a match once, and TenantPoint applies the same rule automatically the next time a similar transaction appears.

04

Connected to CAM and reporting

A categorized expense feeds directly into CAM eligibility and property reporting—no separate spreadsheet to reconcile against it.

What's real today

Banking in TenantPoint today means importing a bank statement—CSV, OFX, or QFX export from your bank—and categorizing each transaction against a tenant, vendor, or expense category. Rules you confirm once get applied automatically to similar future transactions.

Automatic bank sync is in development

A direct, automatic bank connection through Plaid—so transactions arrive without a manual statement export—is built and being finalized for production, but isn't available to connect from your workspace yet. See the Plaid integration page for what it will do once it launches.

  • Today: import a statement, categorize with rule-based suggestions
  • In development: automatic transaction sync via Plaid, no import required

What still needs a person

TenantPoint categorizes and connects transactions to the right property record—it doesn't reconcile your bank account's own running balance the way accounting software does, and it isn't a replacement for QuickBooks or your accountant.

Questions owners ask about this.

Is Plaid bank sync available now?

Not yet—it's built and being finalized for production. Today, banking works by importing a bank statement (CSV, OFX, or QFX) and categorizing the activity.

What file formats can I import?

CSV, OFX, and QFX exports from your bank are all supported.
