PARTNER PROGRAM
Partner Referral Program Terms
Effective September 27, 2026
These terms govern the TenantPoint Partner Referral Program (the “Program”). By applying to the Program, sharing a referral link, or registering a referral, you (the “Partner”) agree to them and to the TenantPoint Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, which are incorporated by reference. If anything here conflicts with the Terms of Service on a subject these terms cover, these terms control for the Program only.
1. The program in one paragraph
When a commercial property owner you refer becomes a paying TenantPoint customer, they receive a $100 credit on their TenantPoint subscription and you receive a $100 credit for each Qualified Referral. Credits are TenantPoint account credits, not cash. The rest of this page defines the words in bold and the rules around them.
2. Who can participate
- Accounting, bookkeeping, and tax professionals; licensed real estate brokers and agents; and property consultants or asset managers who serve commercial property owners; and existing TenantPoint customers.
- You must be at least 18, based in the United States, and accepted into the Program after applying at tenantpoint.co/partners. Acceptance is at TenantPoint’s discretion and is confirmed by email.
- Employees and contractors of TenantPoint, and anyone whose participation would violate a duty they owe to a client or employer, may not participate.
3. What counts as a Qualified Referral
A “Qualified Referral” is an organization that meets all of the following:
- New to TenantPoint. Neither the organization nor its principals have held a paid TenantPoint subscription in the 12 months before signing up, and the organization is not owned, controlled, or billed in common with you or with an existing customer.
- Attributed to you. The organization signed up through your tracked referral link, or you registered the referral on the partners page (or by email to us) before the organization started its trial, and it signed up within 90 days of that registration. If two Partners claim the same organization, the earlier registration or first-touch link, as shown in TenantPoint’s records, controls.
- Not already in our pipeline. The organization had not requested a demo, contacted us, or started a trial through another channel in the 30 days before your referral.
- Paying and active. The organization completed its trial, paid its first subscription invoice, and is still an active customer in good standing 30 days after that first payment.
Trials, demo requests, and inquiries that do not become paid subscriptions are not Qualified Referrals, however valuable the introduction.
4. Rewards and how credits work
- Referred owner: $100 credit applied to the organization’s TenantPoint subscription within 30 days of its first paid invoice, provided the account is active. The standard 15-day free trial applies before that.
- Partner: $100 credit per Qualified Referral, issued within 30 days of the referred organization’s first paid invoice. Credits are applied to the Partner’s own TenantPoint subscription. A Partner who does not yet have a subscription may bank credits for up to 12 months from issue and apply them when they subscribe, or ask us to apply a credit to any active TenantPoint account they designate.
- Credits apply to future TenantPoint subscription invoices only. They have no cash value, cannot be redeemed for cash, refunded, or sold, and are not transferable except as stated above. A credit that has not been applied within 12 months of issue expires.
- Partner credits are limited to 24 Qualified Referrals per Partner per calendar year. If you expect to exceed that, contact us and we will agree terms in writing.
- If a referred organization’s first payment is refunded, charged back, or reversed, or the organization cancels within 30 days of first payment, the referral does not qualify and any credit already issued for it may be reversed.
- Credits may be combined with annual billing but not with any other referral or promotional offer for the same organization.
- Account credits are a reduction in the price of TenantPoint services. TenantPoint does not provide tax advice; you are responsible for any tax treatment of credits you receive.
5. How to refer
- Tracked link. Accepted Partners receive a personal link of the form
tenantpoint.co/?utm_source=partner-yourfirm&utm_medium=partner. Our site records that first visit for 90 days. - Register a referral. Use the “Register a referral” form on the partners page (or email us) with the owner’s company and business contact details before they start a trial. Only share contact details you have the owner’s permission to share.
- You are welcome to hand any owner the free toolkit at tenantpoint.co/tools whether or not they ever become a customer; using the tools is not a referral.
6. Partner conduct
- Say that you are a partner. When you recommend TenantPoint in writing (email, a post, a client memo), clearly state your relationship, for example: “I’m a TenantPoint partner and may receive account credit if you subscribe.”
- Describe the product accurately. Do not state features, prices, or integrations beyond what is published at tenantpoint.co/pricing and tenantpoint.co/demo. Capabilities we describe as “in development” or “in rollout” must be described that way.
- No self-referrals and no referrals of organizations you own, control, or bill in common with, or that are created to earn credits.
- No unsolicited bulk messaging. Comply with CAN-SPAM and the TCPA; do not send referral links to people who have not asked to hear from you.
- No paid search on our name. Do not bid on “TenantPoint” or its variations and misspellings in paid search or social advertising, and do not register domains or handles containing the name.
- Do not post referral links on coupon, deal, or link-sharing sites, and do not present yourself as an employee or exclusive representative of TenantPoint.
- You may use the TenantPoint name and logo only as supplied in the partner kit and only to promote the Program; do not alter them or use them in a way that could disparage TenantPoint.
7. Relationship of the parties
Partners are independent. Nothing in the Program creates an employment, agency, joint-venture, franchise, or exclusive relationship, and no Partner may make commitments on TenantPoint’s behalf. There are no territories and no exclusivity in either direction. TenantPoint sells directly and through other partners.
8. Referred owners and their data
We use the contact details you give us only to follow up on the referral and to operate the referred organization’s own TenantPoint account, under our Privacy Policy. We will not market other services to your client on the strength of your introduction, and we will tell you the status of your referrals (registered, trialing, qualified, credited) but not the contents of your client’s account.
9. Changes, suspension, and termination
- We may change these terms, including credit amounts and the annual limit, on 30 days’ notice by email and by updating this page. Credits already earned under the previous terms are honored.
- We may suspend or end the Program at any time; Qualified Referrals completed before the end date are still credited.
- We may remove a Partner immediately for breach of section 6, for conduct that harms TenantPoint’s customers or reputation, or for suspected fraud, and may withhold or reverse credits arising from that conduct.
- You may leave the Program at any time by email. Credits already issued remain subject to section 4.
10. Records and disputes
TenantPoint’s records of link visits, referral registrations, sign-ups, and payments are the basis for deciding whether a referral qualifies. If you believe a referral was missed, email us within 60 days of the referred organization’s first payment with the details you have; we will review it in good faith and reply in writing. Our decision after that review is final.
11. General
These terms are governed by the same law and dispute terms as the Terms of Service. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. These terms and the Terms of Service are the entire agreement between you and TenantPoint about the Program.
